B'Jon Carter Burnell

   B’Jōn began his dance training at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in Los Angeles at the age of 11. There he was fortunate to train vigorously with Jason Samuels-Smith and Chloe Arnold. B’Jōn has also had the blessing of studying with pioneers of the art form, Ardie Bryant and Ms. Arlene Kennedy. He was a member of the Kennedy Tap Company founded by Ms. Kennedy, with her brother Paul Kennedy. With KTC, B’Jōn has performed throughout the United States and Canada. His credits include the Jaguar Tribute to Style, NAACP Vision Awards, Thalians 51st Anniversary, Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, Urbana, and Herbie Hancock Tribute Show, Music Video for Robert Randolph and the Family Band. B’Jōn has been on the faculty for the LA Tap Fest, Tap Into A Cure, and the Debbie Allen Dance Academy. B’Jōn is currently an undergraduate at the University of California, Los Angeles.
